| Dean Premo, Ph.D., is President and co-founder of White Water Associates. Dr. Premo
acts as lead scientific contact for ecological consulting clients, conveying both
practical experience and scientific theory. As senior project scientist and overall
project coordinator, he oversees development and implementation of field studies,
experimental design, and report writing. His academic training is in vertebrate zoology
and ecology. He holds memberships in the Ecological Society of America and the Society of
Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry. Dr. Premo currently serves as a consultant to the
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Science Advisory Board (Ecological Processes and
Effects Committee, and Research Strategies Advisory Committee) and as a member of the
Committee on Inland Aquatic Ecosystems of the National Research Council. He has served on
the Science Committee of Michigan's Relative Risk Assessment Project and on the Project
Advisory Committee for National Wildlife Federation's Lake Superior Biodiversity Project.
Dr. Premo is certified as a Senior Ecologist by the Ecological Society of America. |
