White Water Associates offers diverse environmental services including: ecological
research and inventories; rare, threatened, and endangered species surveys; environmental
assessment; cultural assessment; watershed management and land use planning; wetland
determination and mitigation; and environmental education. White Water Associates
comprises a team of science professionals whose combined expertise spans limnology,
ecology, ornithology, mammalogy, herpetology, entomology, malacology, fisheries biology,
botany, forestry, toxicology, archaeology, and wildlife risk assessment.
Our field sampling and laboratory analyses meet state and federal guidelines for
quality assurance and control. We analyze industrial discharge, groundwater, municipal
sewage, soils, and solids. Services include routine testing of water and soil for metals,
nonmetals, organics, hydrocarbons, and waste characterization. Soil samples are analyzed,
as required by the State of Michigan and Wisconsin, for underground storage tank removal.
White Water Associates laboratory is certified by the Wisconsin Department of Natural
Resources. It is certified for drinking water analyses by the Michigan Department of
Public Health.
In addition, White Water Associates is certified as a "woman business
enterprise" by Michigan Departments of Transportation and Civil Rights and Minnesota
Department of Transportation.
